Sometimes life is just crappy. Sometimes you feel like you are stuck in a rut and you are going no where fast. Sometimes you live for the weekend and then realize that it is only Monday. But you know you will survive when something happens that reminds you exactly why you love your life. Such as:
When your husband calling and leaving a message just to say, "I Love You." He didn't ask for anything or make sure I got something done, just I love you.
When your not so little baby looks and you and says, mama.
When your husband stays up after you fall asleep to make sure the laundry gets put into the dryer so you have work clothes for the next morning.
When your son walks over to you just to give you a kiss and then walks away.
When you wake up in the middle of the night and your husband is scooting in to spoon you.
When your son cries and rushes over to you when you get hurt and he just somehow knows something is wrong.
When your husband folds the socks every laundry load because you can't stand folding them.
When your son falls asleep in your arms because it is where he wants to be.
Life can be hard and monotonous a lot of the time. But life is magically all better when these little things happen. So don't forget to look at all the small amazing things that those closest to you do just because they love you. These are the moments that we live for.

Happy Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!!
Today Keith turned one. Where has the time gone? It seems like just a couple of months ago we were in the hospital having Keith. One year ago today I looked into the eyes of my little baby and fell in love. There has not been one day that has past since that moment that I have not thought that I was the luckiest mom in the world. I love my little baby. So this post is for you Keith. Happy First Birthday! You have made you Daddy and I the luckiest parents alive. You have made our dreams come true. We love you with all of our hearts!!!!
Here is Day 1 of Keith's life, 6lbs 15 oz and 19 inches

Here is Keith Day 366

Today is Monday, Keith's real birthday. Saturday and Sunday were his birthday parties with family. He got sick on Saturday and has had a cold since then. But despite the cold he was as cute, as energetic, and as fun as ever.
Here he is enjoying his birthday cake!!!!!!!

Here is cake number one, fondant try number two:

Cake number two, just homemade buttercream:

Keith got a basketball hoop for his birthday. Shocking I know. As you can see he can already out dunk his daddy. :)

Here is keith playing around with Daddy and his decorations. It was so cute, he was eating the streamer, but when I said, "Happy Birthday Keith" he turned to me and smiled so big! Oh I love this little boy!

Practice makes perfect....right?
So I told myself probably 8 months ago that I wanted to make Keith's 1st birthday cake. And since I had been watching the food network I wanted to do a fondant cake. So I thought to myself today, I think I should try it out to make sure I have everything. Step 1: Make the cake. Check! Step 2: Stack and frost the cakes. Ummmm...my cake fell apart, I almost lost half of the top heart. (Apparently a heart is not a shape for beginners.) So I tried to recover. Step 3: Make fondant and apply. Too bad fondant shows every mistake. It is a disaster. But I guess good thing I tried. Hopefully my step 2 will not fail next time.

You are never too old for a nap
To this day it still melts my heart when Keith will fall asleep in my arms. He is almost one and I still can't get enough, neither can Benji. It doesn't even matter if your arm falls asleep or it is uncomfortable, to have such a precious little baby be perfectly happy and content with you is almost more than anyone could ever ask. So every time Keith falls asleep on Benji I try to sneak in a picture or two, especially when they nap together. I have a pretty good collection, so I thought today I would dedicate my blog to a wonderful and amazing father and husband, here is to you Benji.
Here is the very first time they fell asleep together, wow almost one year ago.

Oh, yes Easter morning, Keith did not want to look for his easter eggs. He wanted to sleep in Daddy's arms.

I love this one. As you can tell it was a very long day at church for the both of them.

Just another lazy day.

This might by my all time favorite. Do you see Benji glaring at me out of his eye? Well, the flash woke him up and he is not very happy, as you might have been able to tell.

As you can tell, church really does wear them out. But I have also found that out to be true, Sunbeams are really exhausting.

And finally, my very favorite one. They are just so cute for each other. I really do love my life with these two in it!

Ready for the Jazz!
Today we traveled and fought the massive crowds at the mall. We got Jazz shirts as a family. Benji, of course, got a mostly plain one definitley not flashy. It is all black with the old school jazz note. I got a sparkly one, very cool I know, but there was only a shirt for Mehmet Okur. But that is ok, I like the shirt. Keith got a Deron Williams Jersey. He looks soooooo cute! Go Jazz!

My first 3D movie!!!!!!!!!!!
Yesterday was the first time that Keith went to the actual movie theater. He has been to the drive in a couple of times. We went to see UP. It is the cutest movie since Wall-e. I definitely think that everyone should see it. Definitely a feel good movie.
Well, anyways we went and saw it in 3D. You can recycle the glasses after the show and Missy was like nagging me to do that. But I wanted to keep them, and thus came the pictures of Keith in his first 3D glasses.
